The teacher, who had been a permanent staff member since August 2020, was dismissed by the British international school on July 17, 2025. Her termination followed a disciplinary letter issued just weeks prior, which cataloged a series of grievances regarding her performance with students aged 3 to 5.

The school’s allegations against the teacher focused heavily on her daily classroom interactions. Specifically, administrators took issue with her habit of assisting young children with tasks such as peeling bananas, opening yogurt containers, and pouring water. The school argued these actions hindered the children’s development of essential motor skills and independence.
