Objective:
To test organism's ability to tolerate various osmotic concentrations.
Test Procedure
- Use a sterile loop or needle to inoculate broth tubes with different salt concentrations.
 - Incubate at the optimum temperature for 48-96 hours.
 
Interpretation
- Positive = growth
 - Negative = no growth
