International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) - Global Haematology Standards
The International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving accuracy and consistency in diagnostic haematology through international standardization, collaboration, and expert-led initiatives.

The International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH), originally formed as a standardization committee by the European Society of Haematology (ESH) in 1963, became formally established through a collaboration between the International Society of Hematology (ISH) and the ESH in Stockholm in 1964. The ICSH holds the status of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and is recognized for its official association with the World Health Organization (WHO).
As a not-for-profit entity, the International Council for Standardization in Haematology (ICSH) is committed to enhancing the accuracy and consistency of laboratory analyses within the field of diagnostic haematology. To achieve these objectives, the ICSH brings together expert-led Working Groups that rigorously assess laboratory methods and instrumentation. These Working Groups are dedicated to advancing standardization practices and promoting the development of international guidelines and reference materials essential for ensuring global consistency in haematological analyses.
