She holds a Master of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Kerala, building upon a strong foundation in Zoology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Her professional background includes over eight years of field research, where she conducted coral health assessments in the Lakshadweep Sea and studied mangrove ecosystems along the Indian coastline. This direct, hands-on experience in marine ecology provides the authentic foundation for her writing.
